Way of thinking if you are struggling

Hey everyone, I have taken a few days off from writing due to having long days. I had a few minutes today so I decided to just get a quick post out. I just want to let you all know, you all are great and are a one of a kind.

Just because you are struggling does not mean you are failing.

Struggle is normal. Struggling is what makes you stronger, makes you wiser, makes you into a person you will be proud to be.

Every situation that gets thrown your way is a situation you can overcome. Falling is what hurts, standing is what makes it better.

If you noticed I put “better” over “easier”. Just because you stand up and try to face your problems you are faced does not mean it’s going to be an easy process.

Imagine yourself falling off a hill dur to a rock slide, if you lay there what happens? The rocks will keep piling on you, over and over, until there is no more rocks to fall. You now have hundreds of pounds just laying on top of you, not much you can do about it at that point. Now, imagine same situation, but instead of laying there brooding about you falling and you decide to stand up. Those rocks are still falling, but you can move. It will still hurt, you will still have to fight through the rocks, you will still have to be strong.

I want you to look at every situation as a learning moment. Take a step back, take a few minutes and just reassess the situation you’re going through. I want you to think of three positives to every one negative. This may be hard but look at the ending result, look at where it’s going to get you, look at how much stronger you will be at the end.

Well guys, that’s all the time I got to write. Thank you so much for reading and I really hope this helps you through the moments you think is too tough. Because nothing is tougher then you.

  1. Honestly, this way of thinking is exactly the kick to the gut that I needed right now. If you don’t mind, I’d love to share this over on my twitter and FB pages (with given appropriate credits) so it can help inspire others too 🙂
